Wal-Tek might have started solely as a precision machining company, but today we have two robust divisions: a machining division for CNC milling and turning, screw turning, and more, and a fabrication division for tube laser cutting and precision sheet metal fabrication.
Manufacturing Services We Provide

Here are six ways Wal-Tek can support you at every project stage:
1. Design for Manufacturing (DFM) support
We work closely with customers in various industries, including mining, defense, aerospace, general commercial, firearms, and more, bridging the gap between design and manufacturing.
Our senior leadership has 25+ years of DFM experience. We can help you design better parts that are easier to manufacture, potentially reducing both costs and lead times.
It’s never too early for input—bring Wal-Tek in at the beginning of your process, and we’ll ensure your part is designed and made to your requirements. If you’re struggling to develop your part, our team is happy to have a conversation and collaborate with you.
2. Dock-to-stock services
We provide dock-to-stock services to relieve pressure on our customers. Our team takes on the entire sourcing and stocking operation so that you don’t have to bear the burden of supply chain issues and inventory challenges.
3. Tube laser cutting
With our tube laser cutting services, we can create complex geometries in square, rectangular, round, or oval tubing. Our unique, open shapes platform also allows us to cut all open profiles, such as angle, channel, or custom extruded profiles.
4. Assemblies and kitting
Our team will assess your parts’ fit, form, and function to ensure that your assembly works precisely as intended. We’ll then ship fully completed assemblies ready for use as soon as you receive them.
We also provide kitting services, bundling components and hardware to accelerate customers’ in-house assembly operations.
5. Inventory management
Through our Rapid Inventory Program (RIP), we’re now offering strategic, demand-driven inventory storage services that optimize lead times and stabilize pricing.
With RIP, customers enter a long-term agreement (LTA) and determine a minimum and maximum quantity of parts to manufacture and store on our shelves, freeing up space at their facility.
When customers need parts, they submit a purchase order (PO) and pay for the desired number of pieces, billing the order against their LTA. We then ship the parts within 48 hours.
6. Finishing services
We offer a range of finishing operations in-house in both our Machining Division and Fabrication Division.

Our sheet metal fabrication finishing services include:
- Sandblasting
- Automated sanding/edge rounding
